How does the platform handle privacy and email opt outs?
Every website on the platform is deployed with its own privacy and data opt out page. This can be found under Settings > Site Info > Opt Outs
This page gives a visitor the ability to remove themselves from any email communication from this website on our platform, whether or not we have emailed to them in the past or not. We recommend including a link to this page in the privacy policy on the website.
What if a visitor unsubscribes from emails sent from the platform
These email addresses would appear automatically in the Opt outs section also. If your client maintains a global unsubscribe list across all of their vendors, we are happy to work with them to integrate the platform as a part of that.
My client already has a suppression list
Feel free to send it to the team and we will upload it into the platform. Additionally, if your client has some development capacity we have an API endpoint that would allow them to push opted out emails into the platform programmatically.
What happens once a customer's email is on the Opt Out list?
The platform will not send any engagement emails to the address(es) on the opt out list, regardless of visitor's onsite activities.
