To reduce spam and fraud, mobile carriers require businesses to verify their identity before sending messages. This process ensures that all messaging traffic is tied to a legitimate, traceable business. As a result, verified businesses experience better message deliverability and fewer disruptions.

How Ignite Uses SMS Messaging

Ignite uses SMS messaging to power several key features across the platform, including:

  • Offer claim notifications on mobile
  • Shopper watchlist alerts
  • Post-claim surveys
  • Text-based Chat AI (if enabled for your account)

These messages help you engage with customers in real time and drive better outcomes across your campaigns.

What Information is Required

If you're adding a website to your agency account, you'll see the requested fields in the setup process.

To complete verification, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • Legal business name
  • EIN (Employer Identification Number) or equivalent
  • Business contact information

This information must be accurate and match official records, as it is reviewed by carriers during the verification process. Any discrepancies or incomplete information can lead to delays or rejection, preventing SMS functionality from being approved.

What Happens if Verification is Not Completed

Your Ignite account will still function without SMS verification. Offers will continue to display and leads will still be captured within the platform. However, SMS messages will not be sent, meaning features like offer claim texts, watchlist alerts, surveys, and Chat AI messaging will not function.

What Happens if Verification Fails

If the submitted information is inaccurate or does not meet carrier requirements, the verification will fail. In this case, a notice will be generated and Launch Labs Support will reach out to notify you and assist with next steps.
