What is a Reputation?

In Ignite, “Reputation” refers to a site’s external customer reviews that Ignite pulls in and uses for messaging. Most visibly, it powers the “What our customers are saying” module in Engage Emails.

The Ignite platform automatically pulls in reviews from the store’s Google Business page. Our natural language processing engine then mines the reviews for sentiment and identifies any people mentioned in the review. When we first launch the platform for your website, we will mine your last 100 reviews and then mine up to 100 new reviews per week, thereafter.

Reviews

In Reviews, you can take a deeper look at each review. You can read the review, see the sentiment and rating, and open the direct link to the review.

The Reputation is pulled into Engage Emails, under the What our customers are saying section. For a message to be sent in an email, it must meet specific criteria.

  1. The sentiment must be positive.
  2. The rating must be 5 stars.
  3. The length must be over 50 characters, but less than 100 characters.
